Have checked several NYC books, including one that lists only outdoor sculpture, and found nothing listed. It's possible there might be something in one of the museums but I've never come across it or any mention in a Gershwin book. It IS surprising that NYC hasn't come up with some kind of a monument like this for that real New Yorker George! Or has it just escaped my notice? |
