The recording you refer to (available on CD and cassette) is called "The Glory of Gershwin" and was a tribute to Larry Adler for his 80th birthday, in 1994. It indeed features Sting, Elton John,, Elvis Costello, Cher etc etc. and of course Larry Adler himself. Phonogram London 522 727-4. |
