I saw it as well as a young child. I believe some of the originals were, Pearl Bailey, Sidney Portier, Dorthy Dandridge. I've been informed that you cannot get the film anymore because Bill Cosby bought the rights to it and refuses to release it because he says it is a disgrace to our people. I do not believe that it was. If it wasn't for all the previous old films like that one who knows even Bill not be where he is today. I've been trying to get a copy for the past 6 years.
